이곳 Kiwi(뉴질랜드인) 성당에서 애창되는 성가곡으로서

Bernadette Farrell의 <Christ, Be Our Light!>를 올립니다.

단성부로 되어있어 쉬우면서도 아름다운 곡입니다.

저희 체칠리아 성가대의 이종환 바오로 지휘자님께서

악보를 구하시고 직접 NWC로 사보하셨는데 가사는 아래와 같습니다.

(뉴질랜드 사람들은 미사중에 늘 5절까지 다 부른답니다.)

지휘자께서는 저희 홈페이지에 이 곡을 올리시면서

’말은 어려울 것이 없는데 막상 해석하여

가사를 붙여 놓고 보니 어색해서 그냥 원문으로 올린다’고

주석을 다셨더군요.

누군가 적절한 한글 노랫말을 만드셔서 함께 나눌 수 있다면 좋겠습니다.
