2021-09-18 ㅣ No.149823 헨리 나웬 신부님(1932.1.24-1996.9.21)의 오! 그리고 늘! 9월 18일 <준비한 자세로 산다는 것> Living in a State of Preparedness 우리는 하느님으로부터 오는 모든 것을 활짝 열리고 신실한 마음으로 맞이해야 합니다. 준비한 자세로 살아야만 세상 끝 날에 희망과 기쁨으로 살아갈 수 있는 겁니다. 사도 베드로께서 말씀하신대로 조심해야 하는 겁니다. "여러분의 적대자 악마가 으르렁거리는 사자처럼 누구를 삼킬까 하고 찾아 돌아다닙니다."(1 베드로 5,8) 예수님께서도 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. "너희는 스스로 조심하여, 방탕과 만취와 일상의 근심으로 너희 마음이 물러지는 일이 없게 하여라. ---너희는 앞으로 일어날 이 모든 일에서 벗어나 사람의 아들 앞에 설 수 있는 힘을 지니도록 늘 깨어 기도하여라."(루카 21, 34-36) 이것이 바로 예수님의 성령 안에 사는 삶이 추동하는 겁니다. Living in a State of Preparedness SEPTEMBER 18 Everything that comes from God asks for an open and faithful heart. We cannot live with hope and joy in the end-time unless we are living in a state of preparedness. We have to be careful because, as the Apostle Peter says: “Your enemy the devil is on the prowl like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour” (1 Peter 5.8). Therefore Jesus says: “Watch yourselves, or your hearts will be coarsened by debauchery and drunkenness and the cares of life. … Stay awake, praying at all times for the strength to survive all that is going to happen, and to hold your ground before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:34-36). That’s what living in the Spirit of Jesus calls us to.
