2022-01-21 ㅣ No.152410 헨리 나웬 신부님(1932-1996)의 오! 그리고 늘 ! 1월 21일 <고독의 꽃뜰에서 들리는 목소리> The Voice in the Garden of Solitude 고독은 사랑을 갈망하는 우리 마음의 꽃뜰입니다. 외로움이 열매를 맺을 수 있는 곳입니다. 안절부절못하는 몸과 근심걱정하는 마음의 안식처입니다. 물리적 공간과 연결되어 있든 없든 고독은 영성 생활의 고갱이입니다. 고독의 꽃뜰은 쉽사리 생기지는 않습니다. 우리가 너무나 불안정하고 두려움에 차기에 바로 편안하게 해 준다면 무슨 약속에든 쉽게 마음을 빼앗겨 버리기 때문입니다. 고독이 막바로 마음을 편안하게 해주지는 않습니다. 고독 속에서 우리는 자신의 악마성이나, 악습에 빠져들고, 정욕과 분노를 느끼며, 남들의 인정과 지지를 찾는 엄청난 욕망과 마주하기 때문입니다. 하지만 도망치지 않는다면 바로 거기서 "두려워하지 마라. 내가 너희와 함께 있고, 너희를 어둠의 골짜기를 지나도록 이끈다."라고 말씀하시는 하느님을 뵙게 될 겁니다. 그러니 우리는 끊임없이 고독의 꽃뜰로 돌아가야 하는 겁니다. (방진선 토마스 모어 뒤침) The Voice in the Garden of Solitude JANUARY 21 Solitude is the garden for our hearts, which yearn for love. It is the place where our aloneness can bear fruit. It is the home for our restless bodies and anxious minds. Solitude, whether it is connected with a physical space or not, is essential for our spiritual lives. It is not an easy place to be, since we are so insecure and fearful that we are easily distracted by whatever promises immediate satisfaction. Solitude is not immediately satisfying, because in solitude we meet our demons, our addictions, our feelings of lust and anger, and our immense need for recognition and approval. But if we do not run away, we will meet there also the One who says, “Do not be afraid. I am with you, and I will guide you through the valley of darkness.” Let’s keep returning to our solitude. † 성부와 성자와 성령의 이름으로 아멘.
