2021-06-09 ㅣ No.147453 헨리 나웬 신부님(1932.1.24-1996.9.21)의 오! 그리고 늘! 6월 9일 <기도드릴 수 있는 힘을 받는다는 것> Empowered to Pray 기도는 성령님의 은사(恩賜)입니다. 종종 우리는 기도를 어떻게, 언제 드리고 또 무엇을 기도드릴지 마음을 씁니다. 기도드리는 방법과 기법에 대해서 지나치게 신경을 쓴다는 겁니다. 하지만 결국은 기도를 드리는 이는 우리가 아니라 우리 안에 계시는 성령님이시라는 겁니다. 사도 바오로는 이렇게 말씀합니다. “이와 같이, 성령께서도 나약한 우리를 도와주십니다. 우리는 올바른 방식으로 기도할 줄 모르지만, 성령께서 몸소 말로 다할 수 없이 탄식하시며 우리를 대신하여 간구해 주십니다. 마음 속까지 살펴보시는 분께서는 이러한 성령의 생각이 무엇인지 아십니다. 성령께서 하느님의 뜻에 따라 성도들을 위하여 간구하시기 때문입니다.”(로마 8,26-27) 이 말씀에서 성령님을 “위로자”시라고 부르는 까닭을 잘 알 수 있습니다. EMPOWERED TO PRAY June 9 Prayer is the gift of the Spirit. Often we wonder how to pray, when to pray, and what to pray. We can become very concerned about methods and techniques of prayer. But finally it is not we who pray but the Spirit who prays in us. Paul says: “The Spirit … comes to help us in our weakness, for, when we do not know how to pray properly, then the Spirit personally makes our petitions for us in groans that cannot be put into words; and he who can see into all hearts knows what the Spirit means because the prayers that the Spirit makes for God’s holy people are always in accordance with the mind of God” (Romans 8:26-27).
