난 꿈을 꾸었죠 대리석으로 만든 궁전에서
신하와 노예들을 양옆에 거느리고 사는 꿈을
그 성벽 안에 모인 모든 사람들 중에서
나는 희망이고 자랑이었죠

헤아릴 수 없을 만큼 엄청난 부를 누리고
고귀한 가문의 이름을 뽐냈어요
하지만, 당신이 날 변함없이
사랑해 주는 가장 기쁜 꿈도 꾸었답니다.

난 무릎을 꿇은 기사들이 내 손을 잡으며
구혼하는 걸 꿈꾸었죠
처녀의 마음으론 거절하기 힘든 서약을 바치며
